Te pūnga mātauranga

In accordance with NZEI Te Riu Roa Rules (52.2) branches are entitled to one representative for every 95 full-time-equivalent members that they have. Branches with fewer than 95 full-time-equivalent members are entitled to one representative. Rule 39.2.1 states that branches entitled to only one representative are also entitled to have one official observer.

NZEI Te Riu Roa has procedures whereby it can recognise those members who have given distinguished or outstanding service to education and / or the Institute. Members considered for recognition will have conducted themselves in ways that promote and maintain the dignity and welfare of the Institute, advanced the cause of education and reflected their responsibility to learners and the community.

This is our submission opposing the changes to funding of RTLs and RTMs.
