About the role:
We are looking for a Digital Organising Support Officer (Digital OSO) to join our national office team. The role provides administration support and guidance for digital work, ensuring campaigns and union organising work runs smoothly.
Using event platforms to create calendars and events for member events
Moderating events
Provide tech support prior to and during online hui run by National Office, including reminder emails, producing attendance lists and supporting the live production
Assist with problem-solving to resolve challenging membership queries
Establish, send and monitor SMS blasts
Generate membership lists, including cleaning and validating data
Skills and experience:
Skilled at manipulating data and spreadsheets
Uploading and managing online content, such as websites and SMS blasts
Curiosity and persistence to work through technical challenges/issues
Confidence in learning and applying new software or platforms
Drive to contribute to and support team workload
An interest in education, unionism and social justice issues.
