Grade B from $72,688 (pro-rated for part-time)

About the role:

 

We are looking for a Digital Organising Support Officer (Digital OSO) to join our national office team.  The role provides administration support and guidance for digital work, ensuring campaigns and union organising work runs smoothly.  

 

 

  • Using event platforms to create calendars and events for member events

  • Moderating events

  • Provide tech support prior to and during online hui run by National Office, including reminder emails, producing attendance lists and supporting the live production

  • Assist with problem-solving to resolve challenging membership queries

  • Establish, send and monitor SMS blasts

  • Generate membership lists, including cleaning and validating data

 

Skills and experience:

 

 

  • Skilled at manipulating data and spreadsheets

  • Uploading and managing online content, such as websites and SMS blasts

  • Curiosity and persistence to work through technical challenges/issues

  • Confidence in learning and applying new software or platforms

  • Drive to contribute to and support team workload

  • An interest in education, unionism and social justice issues.
