Te Kāhui Whetū 2026

Following the Maramataka Māori, Te Kāhui Whetū is the first, national event for NZEI Te Riu Roa organised by Aronui Tōmua.

It is an opportunity for all NZEI Te Riu Roa members to gather, discuss and debate Māori education and Māori member issues and is a time to reflect, plan, and activate Miro Māori members through professional learning around whakahau, and Māori priorities.

The theme for 2026 is "Kei runga te kōrero, kei raro te rahurahu. Say one thing but do another. Walk the talk"
