Tasks are varied and include:

  • Using market research and continuous improvement strategies to ensure effective communication practices

  • Coaching, developing and leading the communications team

  • Coaching senior leaders and governance representatives for impactful communications

  • Proactive and reactive media work

     

     

In this role you will lead the communications function of NZEI Te Riu Roa. You will work closely with the Co-Directors of Organising and the Director of Campaigns to ensure aligned strategies in our work.  You will also work closely with the Digital Organising Lead on content development supporting member recruitment and activation for online journeys.
