We are changing the lives of women working in education through our advocacy and campaigning on Mana Taurite-pay equity.
Do you have the skills we’re looking for to help with this?
We’re looking for someone with evidence of strong analytical and advocacy skills who can research, develop, and negotiate pay equity claims that will win pay justice for women.
You’ll be joining us at an exciting time as we embark on new pay equity claims, having successfully settled several in the past 5 years. You can read more about our pay equity journey so far here.
Along with a real desire to make a difference for women workers, you will need an understanding of the legal framework and agreed principles for pay equity. Ideally you will have skills, knowledge, and experience of negotiation in a legal, industrial, human resources, collective agreement or pay equity context, and some knowledge of the education sector would be advantageous.
The proven ability to work well in a fast-moving environment, alongside colleagues in a team setting is also critical.
If you share our values, have excellent skills, are highly organised and can work well under pressure, then we would welcome your application.
